From what the Variety Cut Scene blog is reporting, the prognosis is not good for Tim Schafer's heavy metal-inspired action game. Sources at Double Fine have said that Activision Blizzard has been "an impediment" to Brutal Legend finding a new home, and has been "blocking the process." It seems that that there's been little progress since negotiations with MTV fell through back in August.
Activision Blizzard declined to comment, but it looks like relations are definitely not the best between Double Fine and Activision Blizzard. Here's hoping that things work out, and we'll all be playing Brutal Legend sooner rather than later.
