New designs include a 'wave' touchscreen, frame embedded buttons and 'emotional comfort'.
A new range of concept mobile phones have been unveiled by Pantech (Korea's third largest handset manufacturer) that feature a variety of directions in both mobile design and user interface, says the Unwired website.
The first concept piece is known as Coralliform Water. Taking underwater life as its theme, this slider design resembles an emerging flower or anemone. It includes a touch-screen plus a built-in camera of unknown specification.
According to Pantech,Easter Moai is designed to express the 'multifaceted nature of human beings'. Featuring a 'wave' touch-screen LCD, a touch key and a dome key. It also features an odd looking support.
The Recy_Q includes a sliding QWERTY keyboard. The chassis also includes a range of touch keys embedded into its metal frame.
The Softy Lofty, is designed, says the company, 'to offer as much visual and emotional comfort as possible'. Apparently, it emits a vague light when re-charged.
