Everyone who preorders also gains access to the beta. By Kyle Stallock, 11/11/2008
Now, a new site has appeared for the independent game, and Purho and his company Kloonigames are taking preorders. Putting down $14.95 nets you the entire game, a savings of $5 off the release price, and access to the Crayon Physics Deluxe beta once it begins.
On his blog, Purho reveals his indie title won't include any kind of DRM. From the post:
"I've found that it only hurts the real customers (e.g. I'm an owner of Space Rangers 2, which I can't play because the DRM is incompatible with my computer). And no DRM will stop people from pirating your game."Like Edmund McMillen, creator of Gish, Purho is an original content-creating machine. Check out the video above from this year's IGF for more on his past work as well as a behind-the-scenes look at Crayon Physics.
