EA Sports Active was a departure from the company's usual line-up, but it's paid off in a big way. At EA's press conference, Peter Moore announced that the game had sold a staggering 600,000 units in only the first two weeks, and that second-week sales were just as strong as the first. The game will be getting an expansion later this year with 30 new exercises. Moore claimed that the new exercises will focus on working the core, which was a big request from players of the original. Given how successful it was, the expansion should have no problem selling like hotcakes.
