T-Mobile boosts its Solo price plans

SIM only package includes international calls as part of a minutes allowance

T-Mobile has introduced two new options to its popular SIM only price plan. Both Solo International and Solo 12 month includes more inclusive minutes, while the latter, for a limited time only (until the end of August), also includes unlimited access to the internet for your phone.

Solo International is the first SIM only price plan to include international calls as part of a minutes allowance. Customers will be able to enjoy 200 minutes for international calls as well as 600 UK minutes for just £20 per month. Solo 12 month builds on the original Solo plan (which is still available) by offering 33% more minutes as well as the unlimited texts available with the original plan. Obviously the difference is that you will have to agree to a 12-month contract rather than a 30-day rolling one, but for £20 a month, Solo 12 customers will receive 800 minutes of calls, compared to the 600 minutes on the 30 day/standard rolling plan that cost £30 a month.

Both Solo International and Solo 12 month are available from 1 July.
