Orange gets Toshiba TG01 exclusive

Operator distributing handset for free on 24 month contract

Toshiba's powerful multimedia handset, the TG01 will be sold via Orange's retail channels as the operator has bagged exclusive rights to the device. The handset which sports a massive 4.1-inch WVGA touch-screen is the first handset in the UK to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 1GHz processor making it ultra-fast.

Available for free on a 24-month contract at a cost of £39.15 per month, the package includes 1200 any network call minutes, unlimited texts, Orange Maps along with inclusive anytime internet browsing. Orange also promises a wide range of shortcuts to the likes of Orange TV & Video, which includes video content from Sky 24/7 Football, and Orange World, the operator's mobile internet portal.

The Toshiba TG01 will be available on Orange monthly price plans from 10 July.
