Ubisoft knows a good thing when it sees it -- or a popular thing, at least. The publisher announced today that Rabbids Go Home -- the latest in the popular Rayman spinoff series -- will also be appearing on the Nintendo DS.

The new title will feature "the same zany storyline at its Wii counterpart," but also promises a "different gameplay experience." That includes Nintendo DSi exclusive ability to take pictures and "customize them with funny Rabbid animations."

The gameplay will be puzzle-based, with fifteen levels and 150 challenges. Additional features include a level editor, as well as four challenge modes that include twenty levels apiece.

Rabbids Go Home DS will be arriving in stores "this holiday season." Rabbids Go Home, meanwhile, will arrive in October.
