The guys over at Ratpr have been busy lately. Not only did they launch their new multi-network messaging client today, they've announced that they've reached a new agreement with Activion and THQ, allowing the program to potentially reach more users than ever before.

The two publishers join the Raptr Partners Program, which already includes the likes of Sony Online Entertainment, as well as entities like Gala-Net and GamesCampus. Founder Dennis Fong hailed the partnership as "welcome and significant additions to the Raptr Partners Program."

Under the new agreement, the Raptr client will be bundled with all copies of Red Faction: Guerilla, as well as the free-to-play Dragonica Online. The client has also been bundled with Call of Duty: World at War since November 2008.

In a recent interview with 1UP, Fong called the relationship "very symbiotic." Raptr gets to reach a wider audience, but THQ, Activision and Sony also see it as a valuable marketing opportunity, he said.

"It's a window into what's hot," Fong said. "People will see their friends playing Red Faction, and they'll want to play too."

Activision director of interactive marketing Carlson Choi agrees, saying, "By allowing gamers a simple way to broadcast their triumphs, achievements and gaming preferences to all of their friends, Raptr has established an excellent word-of-mouth platform for game publishers to market and strengthen brand affinity around their game titles,"

Raptr continues to grow, with Fong saying that he expects 10 million users by the end of the year. Their new multi-network messaging client adds to a suite of features that includes gaming status updates and achievement tracking.
