Vodafone has gone Facebook crazy. Not only are they offering free access to the site for an entire week when using Vodafone's mobile broadband service either on a mobile or computer, but customers will also receive free text alerts to any Facebook notifications they choose. Starting on Friday 24 July, for one week customers will be able to avoid the flat rate of just 50p a day by logging onto their account completely free.

Even after the week has come to an end, customers will be able to sign in to www.facebook.com/mobile and choose what notifications they are alerted to via a free texting service, be it status updates, pokes, or friend requests. Customers will also be able to respond to these alerts via text, though this will incur a standard text rate.
