New X2 video showcases latest version of Windows Mobile 6.5

A new video of the Xperia X2 has been released that highlights the latest version of Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5.

The teasing continues with another development in the continuing saga of Sony Ericsson's Xperia mobile phones and the 'will they, won't they' question regarding official announcements. We've already seen the Rachel demoed in video form, now it's the turn of the Xperia X2, according to the Slashgear website. Granted, the video is not of the best quality as far as displaying the new features of the design is concerned. However, the fact that the mobile has been seen 'live' at all and holds the latest version of Windows Mobile 6.5 is a good thing and reflects how close the model is to a final launch.

The X2 has been given the codename of 'Vulcan'. Reports say that the phone should be released this Autumn. A UK release date is still to be decided.
