How to Clean a Camcorder

Instructions Difficulty: Moderately Easy Steps 1 Step One Blow dust off the lens with compressed air. 2 Step Two Use a special lens cleaner and lens cloth to clean any remaining dirt and grease off the lens. Beginning at the center, swirl the cloth toward the outer edge of the lens. 3 Step Three Clean the inside of the camcorder with a special head-cleaning cassette. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for proper use. 4 Step Four If the cleaning cassette fails to adequately clean the camcorder heads, have them cleaned by a trained technician.
