If you are seeking to use this knowledge to work at a specific establishment, see if they can recommend any particular courses. If they don't have a specific recommendation or if you are doing the training for your own personal gratification, check the courses for their content and see if the schools have any references or certifications available.

Step 3:
Work for a company that provides free training. Some of the larger electronics superstores that sell car stereos provide installation training for some prospective employees. If you ask around, you might be able to get the training through one of them, assuming you also are willing to work for them for a time.

Step 4:
Attend car stereo demonstrations and events. A lot of car stereo enthusiasts hold regular events showing off what modifications they have made to their vehicles and discussing new advances in the field. These professionals are normally very helpful and can provide you with excellent information. You might even ask them if you could watch them at work; this way you could learn from watching a master at the trade.
